On Jan 19 there would be a THP presentation session,

1)    According to the film/period the student has chosen to work with, 4 groups are divided; it would be a COLLECTIVE presentation (each student participates);

2)    Each group would be given 15 minutes to present on their ‘representative works of the period’ (namely individual THP project), in showing to your classmates, a) what they are about; b) individual film’s position and significance in Asian film history; c) the potential (dis)connection between presented works produced in the same period, across the national film industries, if applicable. PPT and visuals are encouraged; but other methods are fine too.

3)    5 min cross-group Q&A session would follow; sequence announced on site.

More on the thesis workshop (brainstorming for your final project) later.
