WEEK 14*JULY 26TH GROUP PRESENTATION SESSION

The presentation is based on the three sessions of discussions:

1)   HOW TO SEE YOURSELF? –SELFIE & INSTAGRAM

2)   OTAKUOLOGY & SOCIAL MEDIA + Train Man
a) Anqi, Xiaona, Hector

b) Yiting, Zijin,  Maxime

3)   IMAGE CULTURE IN THE GLOBAL AGE + Human Flow
a) Wendy, Xiao Xiao and Wang Xinyue.

We will decide the topics (each group works on one topic out of the 3) among the 6 groups on July 12^th.

Each group would have to use the a) literature and b) films listed in the syllabus as their materials to structure a 10-min presentation. You are also encouraged to use other types of resources if those external resources would contribute to your discussions.

NO NEED to cover every possible topic from one session; make the discussions specific, and small. I will not encourage you to use too many case studies; instead, to take a few steps to discuss the arguments and keywords proposed by the authors (especially those in the Required Readings) might be a good way to start. If you need me to re-share the notes, please email me.

A Q & A session will follow each presentation.
